Generating network marketing leads is a matter of mind and mindset.  It’s doing the right thing for yourself and your prospects, and helping people by giving them a solution to their problems, needs, or desires. 

I know when I started in network marketing I wanted to “pitch” people on my products or services.  I think in this world where we’re bombarded by so many marketing messages we tend to emulate or copy those messages almost unconsciously.  This is death when it comes to working on the Internet. 

To generate leads via a blog (like this one) or to use one of the hundreds of other venues to build your network marketing business via the internet, keeping your ultimate goal in mind is huge to creating better content and influencing more people.  When you operate from this “success position” generating leads become much easier because your brian is geared toward success rather than the contrary.

Before you start seeing a tom of success it can really be difficult to keep yourself motivated for the long haul. Once you begin seeing consistant results in your business you’re encouraged, motivated to press on toward more and more success. Have you written down your goals? Have you written down how you plan to achieve them? If not, why not? What do you have to lose anyway.

Many of us are afraid of failure, but I think more people are scared of success. I know when I started my business I would work really hard to begin generating leads and make sales, I was determined to succeed. But as soon as I began making sales, I stopped what was bringing me results. Why? I have to believe it was because I was afraid of success.
