The improtance of lead generation to your network marketing business is pretty well understood. What isn’t understood so well is how to generate more leads. If there was one skill I wish I could go back and teach myself from the beginning of my business it would certainly be lead generation forst before anything.
So how do you build a quality sales funnel that churns out qualified leads 24 X 7? It’s not really as hard as you might think. If you begin thinking like someone who is looking for what you’re offering. THis is paramount to building a lead generation system that works. Ask yourself, what you’re trying to sell, and how you can get that offering in front of people who probably have a need for your product or service.
You wouldn’t try to sell steak to a group of vegans no matter how good of quality the beek, or how much you enjoy eating it. But too often people just throw out an offering into a certain marketplace with total disregard for who is in that market.
- Really think about what you’re selling and how it can solve the problems of the people who you hope will buy it.
- Create quality informational content within that marketplace. Don’t just pitch people on your product, give people statistics about your target market. Make your advertising about them, not you. Show them how can your product or service solves their problems or makes their lives easier.
- Give people a way to say a “shy” yes. Give them a valuable resource for nothing in return.
